The Phoenix Cotillion is a nonprofit organization formed more than 50 years ago. The founders wanted to give young men and women the opportunity to learn philanthropy, to be exposed to the fundamentals of etiquette and to become better acquainted with their peers by way of attending several annual social events. This focus still remains today. Membership is open only to valley young women of high school age, however, young men are invited to escort the models during the fashion show and attend the Winter Formal Dinner Dance. Over the last seven years our membership has grown from 260 young women to almost 500.
Another mission and goal of The Phoenix Cotillion is to support a Valley charitable organization at each event. Throughout the years we have proudly supported non-profit organizations such as: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Women in Philanthropy-Arizona State University, Teach for America, Valley Forward and Free Arts of Arizona.
